by boat: The famous Coastal Steamer "Hurtigruten" arrives daily in Kirkenes. The boat leaves Bergen daily at 20:00 in summer, at 22.30 in winter. The journey from Bergen to Kirkenes takes 6 days. The boat stops several times along the coast. The biggest harbours where the boat stops are:Ålesund, Trondheim, Bodø and Tromsø.
